Alexis Norman is a land steward, environmental activist and educator working in the realm of agroecology and food sovereignty. Through land stewardship Norman is working to create a network of other farmers and land caretakers. This communal network will aim to further connect people of color to the land, explore relationships with food, and ancestral knowledge. While growing their network Norman has worked on biodynamic and organic farms, and for nonprofits working to encompass young learners. Currently a student at City College of San Francisco finishing their degree in film production and carpentry certification. They enjoy being able to build all types of skills to bring into their environmental work.
