Bria Crawford is an environmental engineer with the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency. She received her B.S. in Civil Engineering at Howard University and her M.S. in Environmental Engineering from the University of California, Berkeley. She has worked within multiple sectors including public, private and non profit with experiences ranging from environmental media sampling, sustainability projects for public schools, and environmental justice education. Within her current role, Bria supports drinking and wastewater utilities as they prepare Emergency Response Plans for natural disasters and malevolent acts. She is also assisting with the Justice40 Initiative and Environmental Justice project implementation. Outside of work, Bria is a member of the Red, Black, and Green New Deal, Toastmasters International, and Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc.
