Jasmine McAdams is a Program Officer with the National Association of Regulatory Utility Commissioners. She develops educational programs and resources for state public utility commissions on emerging issues in the energy sector including energy justice, transportation electrification, nuclear energy, and carbon capture. Prior to joining NARUC, Jasmine was an associate analyst with Abt Associates where she provided compliance, evaluation, outreach, and policy support to the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency. She also worked as a research technician with the University of North Carolina-Chapel Hill Institute of Marine Sciences where she helped investigate the ecological effects of sea-level rise on North Carolina’s marsh habitats. She holds a bachelor’s degree in Geology from Brown University.
