Meet Timnit Kefela

Q1: How would you describe your job to a 5-year old?

A1: I dig soil and look for small pieces of plastic and try to understand how they got there and how we can catch them. 

Q2: If you were a fruit, which one would you be?

A2: Passionfruit. No hesitation. 

Q3: What song would you say your life is a music video to? 

A3: In this era of my life, Bloody Samaritan by Arya Starr or Toast by Koffee.

Q4: What’s your favorite TV show?

A4: Abbott Elementary. It is so familiar especially since I was a K-12 educator in the past. It really makes me belly laugh. 

Q5: Which country is at the top of your list to visit?

A5: Brazil!
