Raqqya Adside-West is a lifelong environmentalist who works as a program manager for the Battier Take Charge Foundation, a nonprofit college-access organization that provides scholarships, workshops, and mentorship to underserved youth. She holds a degree in Environmental Studies from Florida International University, where she majored in Agricultural Science with a focus on agroecology. She is currently pursuing a Master of Nonprofit Management and a Master of Public Administration at the University of Central Florida. Raqqya is a member of the Black in Environment network, and she is committed to advocating for effective environmental stewardship through education and content curation.
