Simone Miles
Simone Miles is an economist from Prince George’s County. She has been a fan of sustainability since childhood through reusing materials for everyday use and creative projects. She became interested in volunteering for the environment after recording a podcast with a member of the Earth Conservation Corps, a nonprofit in DC focused on restoring the Anacostia River. Since September 2020, she has been hosting trash pick ups during the warmer months in Navy Yard. This year, the Anacostia River Trash Pick Up will begin April 22, 2023, come out and join one weekend!
